The practice of criminal law has never fit neatly within practice management software. It lives and breathes in bookmarks and shared folders, last minute group chats and agencies, and the hundreds of open tabs in your brain.

So we brought it together.

One place. Four connected parts.

Courts

Your matters, connected to the courts. Every Queensland court list is monitored and matched to your clients the moment it's published. Court dates, outcomes and your diary stay in sync.

Daily matches

Acquit continuously scans published and draft law lists across Queensland and matches them instantly against your clients. Matches appear instantly and are tracked for any changes throughout the day.

Never miss a court date again

You find out the moment a client is listed, at any Queensland court, including the ones you forgot or who have come back again.

Every appearance, on the record

Court dates, outcomes and next steps stay on the matter. Open the file and the history is already there.

Know who's sitting

Who's at which court, updated daily from published law lists and draft lists. Walk in knowing the bench.

Your diary, always in sync

Court dates flow to your calendar on their own. When something changes, the diary is never left behind.

Network

A profession that works together. Post an agency and a local lawyer covers it, with the outcome and next dates saved to the file. Confirmed in Acquit, not a group chat.

Seamless coordination

Requests are posted to the marketplace and intelligently routed to available lawyers. Standardised instructions, structured reporting, and full tracking, from request to outcome.

Secret agencies are in the past

Post your agency request and it gets routed to an available agent to accept, all in a matter of seconds.

Instructions that arrive complete

Town agents always receive structured instructions from the matter, not a forwarded email chain.

The outcome comes back to the file

After the appearance, the outcome report lands on the matter, with follow-ups automatically flagged. Nothing to chase.

Messaging, built in

Direct messages and group chats, inside Acquit. Bring the groups you already know, voice notes and all. One less app open all day.

“After 15 years, I got tired of checking law lists every morning, chasing town agents across four different apps, and copying and pasting into the same documents over and over.”

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a practice management system to use Acquit?

No. Acquit stands on its own, whether you use LEAP, Smokeball, Clio or nothing at all. Your files, billing and trust accounting stay wherever they are now.

Can I import my clients?

Yes. Export from anything that makes a CSV and import to Acquit. From then on, your clients are continuously monitored.

Is Acquit only for Queensland?

Yes, for now. The lists it reads, the forms it fills and the benchbooks it indexes are all Queensland's.

How does the trial work?

You can try the full app for 14 days. Every feature is included from day one. Cancel anytime.

Is client data secure?

Every account uses two-factor authentication, and your firm controls who can access each matter.
